
The Ontario Principals’ Council (OPC) is a professional association representing individuals employed as principals and vice-principals in Ontario’s publicly funded school system. Our goal is to provide Members with the professional services and supports they need to provide exemplary leadership in public education.
Membership
Membership is available to practising principals and vice-principals of Ontario’s publicly funded education system. For the school year 2010-2011 the Membership fees will be $1078.00 per year and are paid through payroll deduction, personal cheques or credit card (confirmed with Revenue Canada as tax deductible). Associate of OPC
Associate of OPC is available to aspiring, retired former Members, non-practising or out-of-province principals and vice-principals, academic and business supervisory officers, or other education stakeholders. Term Membership
Membership may be available to retired Principals/Vice-Principals who are former OPC Members on term assignments, subject to the approval of the OPC Executive in its absolute discretion. Membership must be taken out for a 6 month period if the term assignment is for 90 days or less or for a 12 month period if the term assignment is for more than 90 days. Members on term assignments of less than 90 days are required to pay half of the regular Membership fees, which may be paid in installments over 6 months.
